Product description and substitution
Products and their packaging may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only.
Your right to make changes
If you wish to make a change to the product you have ordered please contact us and we will let you know if the change is possible. If it is possible we will let you know about any changes to the price of your order, the timing of supply or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change.
Delivery
Orders placed by 11pm on Sunday will be delivered on the Wednesday that week. Orders placed after this time will be delivered the following Wednesday. We use overnight delivery with Royal Mail. In some cases delivery can take longer.
Unfortunately, we are only able to offer delivery to England, Wales and mainland Scotland.
As cheese is a perishable item we are unable to accept returns. You must give an alternative ‘safe-place’ to leave the parcel if you are not in. Timed deliveries are not possible (the courier will deliver some time during the day) and if you are not in at the time of delivery, the courier will leave your order in your stated alternative/safe place.
If you have any questions or issues with your delivery, it is best to contact us as a first point of call.
If there is a risk of substantial delay caused by an event outside of both Curlew Dairy Company Ltd’s and your own control, you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.
The product will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the product to the address you gave us. You own the product once we have accepted your order and received payment in full.
Quality concerns
We take great pride in the quality and condition of our cheese and it should reach you in the best possible condition. When you receive your order, please open it right away, loosen the wrapping around the cheeses and inspect them. If you aren’t happy with what you find, please call us and if possible take some pictures. We will do our best to put it right. If you’d like a replacement order, we can send that out for you or if you would rather just have your money back, we can do that too. As we handle cheese, which changes with age, we do ask that you contact us with regards to quality concerns within 5 days of receipt of the order.
Your rights
If you are a consumer, we are under a legal duty to supply products that are in conformity with the contract. However, you do not have a right to change your mind in certain situations, for example, where the contract is for perishable goods (this will include all cheese products).
